Three words to describe the mood and atmosphere James Bond trailer:


  • Action
  • Tense
  • Exciting 

  • I think action because of all the weapons suggests its an action movie.
  • I suggested tense because it cuts off most of the clips which make us want to watch it to see what happens.
  • I put exciting because it seems cool.

Which bit is the most tense? 

The end when he drives the car through all the people. 

Prediction:

I agree that fast cuts create tension however there are other ways to create tension too take silence as an example when its silent it should be scary because you never know what could happen.

  Wednesday 6th October 2021 LO: To analyse a media text using Media Language Why do you think they chose this shot type? The camera shot type is a medium long shot.  I think they chose this shot because it shows all of the features like the gun and a clear facial expression. If they had chosen a long shot his facial expression would not be clear and if you chose a mid shot the gun would not be visible so a medium long shot is perfect.  Clothing: The clothing looks professional however, its not exactly something James Bond would wear as he  usually wears suits.  He also looks like a cowboy who are usually outlaws so maybe he's an outlaw in this movie? Trailers and Genre:

Wednesday 12th January 2022 LO - To explore the different features of iMovie and experiment with different genre features. I decided to use the Jurassic park trailer which is an adventure movie.
