1. Beginning: Rapunzel gets stolen by Mother Gothel from her parents

1. End: She gets reunited with her parents and marries Flynn.

Narrative Theory: Todorov 

Equilibrium:
Rapunzel's mum falls ill while pregnant with Rapunzel and her husband sends out guards for a magic flower to cure her. The queen is cured and gives birth to Rapunzel whom because of the flower now has magic hair.

Disruption:
Rapunzel gets taken by Mother Gothel and is used for her hair as it has the power to make Mother Gothel younger. 

Recognition of Disruption: 
Rapunzel escapes her tower with a person called Flynn Ryder and soon finds out she is the long lost princess. 

Attempt to solve Disruption: 
Rapunzel goes back to her tower and confronts her 'mother' She denies it and Flynn comes up to save her but gets stabbed by Mother Gothel. Flynn then chops off Rapunzels hair so mother Gothel can't use it anymore. She then gets tangled up in it and falls out the tower and dies. Rapunzel then drops a tear on Flynn and he survives.

New Equilibrium:
Rapunzel and Flynn live happily ever after.

  Wednesday 6th October 2021 LO: To analyse a media text using Media Language Why do you think they chose this shot type? The camera shot type is a medium long shot.  I think they chose this shot because it shows all of the features like the gun and a clear facial expression. If they had chosen a long shot his facial expression would not be clear and if you chose a mid shot the gun would not be visible so a medium long shot is perfect.  Clothing: The clothing looks professional however, its not exactly something James Bond would wear as he  usually wears suits.  He also looks like a cowboy who are usually outlaws so maybe he's an outlaw in this movie? Props: He's holding a gun which could suggest violence or death. Trailers and Genre:

Wednesday 12th January 2022 LO - To explore the different features of iMovie and experiment with different genre features. I decided to use the Jurassic park trailer which is an adventure movie. I decided to change it to a horror film because I think that would be the best genre to change it too. 😊  Wednesday 19th January 2022 The old story line is that the new T-rex escapes and kills a lot of people.
